Tonight is the night when 45% of Americans will get geared up for the coming year by making a New Year’s resolution. So what do they plan to change, improve, accomplish? According to the University of Scranton’s Journal of Clinical Psychology published on December 13, 2013, these are the top 10 New Year’s resolutions for 2014.

So while 45% of us are making some sort of New Year’s resolution, we’re apparently not so good at the follow through. Just 75% of resolutions are maintained through the first week of January, and only 8% of us are actually successful in achieving our goals.
Well, the Women You Should Know team intends to defy those odds. Our resolution for 2014 is to continue to hold each other up, while encouraging women to realize their own potential and go after what they want.
