Say No To Anorexia Campaign Uses Disturbing Fashion Images To Push Message

Via a WYSK reader, who saw this on Upworthy, who gave original credit to BuzzFeed, we had to share the images that made us launch into a group upchuck. Created by Revolution, an ad agency in Brazil, for Star Models, the images show what real woman would have to look like to fit the fashion sketches of designers.

The intent is to warn against the unrealistic expectations of beauty that swirl in all parts of our culture today and to showcase the dangers of anorexia. Ummm… we think they pretty much nailed it.

PS – the women on the right, while actual models, have been Photoshopped into skeletal versions of themselves to drive the point home
