Women You Should Know®
An Editorial Site For & About Dynamic Women
Although many of us depend on our electronic devices to keep track of our day-to-day activities, there’s still nothing like taking pen to paper and writing things down on an actual calendar, and there are some great ones for 2016!
One of our favorite finds is the Pride and Prejudice 2016 Read a Book-In-A-Year Day-to-Day Calendar. Yes, you read that correctly, a literary treat every day that includes the complete text of one of our favorite classic novels by Jane Austen.
With entries dated from January 1 to December 31 of the 2016 calendar year, you can make your way through the entire text by reading one page a day.
Whether discovering the novel for the first time or revisiting, it’s a terrific way to engage your entire family with antics of Elizabeth Bennett and Fitzwilliam Darcy.
A couple of other must haves we’ve found include Johanna Basford’s Secret Garden coloring calendar and the 2016 Women’s Suffrage Calendar, which is filled with images of original suffrage memorabilia, including posters and facts about the movement.
