What would it sound like if sitcoms were written by feminists? From a random sampling of some of her favorite Fall TV shows, writer, performer and self-proclaimed feminist, Cynthia Kao, re-dubs a few segments to find out. Here’s one of our favorite rewrites.

Original: “I feel about vaginas the way I do about America… I love it, but every once in awhile, it does things that disgust me.”

Rewrite: “”I feel about vaginas the way I do about America…I’m grateful to be in it.”

Oh, we can dream.

I particularly liked the one about getting married. I’m 48, single and child free by choice and let me tell you, I wouldn’t trade my life for the life I see my married friends living for all the tea in China. 😉
