Giveaway: Signed Copy Of “I Am Malala” by Malala Yousafzai

BooksGiveaways 59 Comments

Prior to our co-founder’s unforgettable evening seeing Malala Yousafzai speak in person last Thursday, she had the opportunity to purchase a very special, signed copy of the brave 16 year old’s just published memoir, “I Am Malala”. Instead, she bought two. One copy now sits in our permanent WYSK library, and we have a second copy to giveaway to one very lucky WYSK reader that includes a bookplate signed by Malala herself.

“I Am Malala” is a riveting account of the young education activist and Noble Peace Prize candidate’s remarkable story. Included is the story of millions of children around the world who are denied an education, along with Malala’s plans for the future, and her work with the Malala Fund. The book will make you believe in the power of one person’s voice to inspire change in the world.

Enter To Win… Right Here, Right Now!

There is ONLY one way to enter to win this signed copy of “I Am Malala”… just leave a comment on this post below.

Hi Jen and Cynthia – It was so wonderful to have your support in Times Square this past weekend. Thank you for your help with the posters, press releases, and videography. It was so moving to see so many people supporting the mission of the Brave Girls Alliance — to be more mindful of the media and messages we are giving our girls.
Contrast that to Malala and the messages she and girls all over the globe receive that they are not worth an education. Her voice rings true and clear to people everywhere, that this type of thinking is unacceptable. How lucky you were to hear her speak!

What an inspiration Malala is. We need to be sharing stories of real females with courage like hers to our daughters and sons, not cartoon fairy tales. I have shared her story of courage, strength & compassion, and the importance of education, with my children. She truly is amazing.

  • komal

I’m a teenage girl from Pakistan and I think Malala is truly an inspiration. However, here in Pakistan we have many more young kids who’re fighting for their rights and against the taliban. The international community need to understand that.
Thanks for the giveaway. I would love to read this book, I hope I get selected as a winner of this signed copy.
