To up the awesome of her Istanbul-based woodworking brand Grav Grav, she recently added a new collection that features a whole nother layer of artistry… cross stitching. Merve finishes each bag to perfection using natural varnish on the wood exterior and hand-sewn suede leather for the interior and pockets. But this level of fine craftswomanship does not come without a price. Her new embroidered wood bags and backpacks range from $205 – $880. However, Merve’s classic beech wood and leather satchels, bags and backpacks, are equally as awesome, and they range in price from $70 – $140 (satchels and bags) and $110 – $170 (backpacks).
