No Act Of Kindness Is Too Small

Some morning inspiration and a small reminder of how a simple act of kindness can go a long way.

This came to us via WYSK reader Madeline…

“I was standing in line at Starbucks when I turned to the pretty lady next to me and said, ‘your hair is sooo pretty.’

She said, ‘you just made me so happy, because I went through chemo and lost almost all of my hair, and what was left was completely damaged. It’s finally grown back in, and well… you just made my day.’

NO… she actually made my day. I was feeling grumpy and she put my mood into perspective. You never know how one simple kind word to a stranger can impact them, or yourself.

Have a great day all!”

Thanks Madeline, a great reminder that it doesn’t take much to be nice, sometimes just a few kind words will do.

Isn’t it interesting how such a simple little conversation can change a mood. How come we never seem to remember how blessed we really are? We always seem to focus on the negative when we should be focusing on the positive. Let’s all try today to “stop and smell the roses” because they may not be here tomorrow. Have a great day!
